Troubleshooting network printing methods

If the two workstations within the network can not normally access the network printer, then we should be with the printer directly connected to a workstation, a careful check local Windows system has been put in the printer settings to the default printer; in view the objectives of the printer whether it is the default printer, we only need to Click "Start" / "Settings" / "Printers and Faxes" command, the printer list in the following pop-up window, to see whether the objectives of the printer icon on the black Komagari number (Figure 1 below), if any, it would show that the destination printer has been set-up costs to the system default printer.

If the above checks can not be solved also can not access the network printer fails, then we have to look at the office of the two workstations is in the same one working group. Although in many cases, we simply workstation TCP / IP parameter settings are correct, the two workstations, the name of the working group, if not the same, but they are still able to use the Network Neighborhood feature to access shared information with each other; but for network printing, the Once the Working Group on the workstation name is not the same, then the actual process of access to the network printer may be unable to access on the phenomenon.
